Fred M. Fehsenfeld, Sr. Catalyst for Change Fund

With a goal of promoting innovation in the asphalt industry, The Heritage Group announced a contribution of $600,000 to establish the Fred M. Fehsenfeld, Sr. Catalyst for Change Initiative in August 2019.  The donation honors the late Heritage Group founder who was a tireless asphalt industry supporter and philanthropist.  

The initiative will fund research and education that promotes advancement in the areas of public procurement innovation; transportation system design; asphalt pavement testing methodology; health, safety and environmental stewardship; and more.  

The Fred M. Fehsenfeld, Sr. Catalyst for Change Initiative Council will provide oversight of this fund, as well as the request for proposal process in selecting projects and awarding subsequent research grants.
